So, Why LUZ?
We catch a fair amount of flak for our name but, like everything about our company, the name LUZ is purposeful. We won’t correct you if you disagree, but we pronounce it “LOOZ”.
There’s obfuscation and duality embedded in everything we do; “luz” has diverse meanings in different languages. To some, it means “light,” to others, “almond.”
Look to the almond tree to understand our design philosophy – the sweet almond is hardy and sustaining, while the bitter variant is poisonous; its tough shell is a primary component in cyanide. This organic paradigm is reflected in our security design and service offerings – we strive to sustain our clients, while being a bitter bite to those who would come against them. Both variants thrive in harsh environments.
